A big world
a confusing past
a broken mind
it takes a long time
to wake up from the dream
around 30 minutes
every morning
almost 40 years
here is the window
that is the tree
here is our son
who has risen with the sun
by around the 20 minutes mark
it is our turn
to leave ourselves in our dreams
coming back now
from a woman to a man
from a child to a father
from a mother to a boy
then naked and now clothed
