The Pace of Passion

The peaceful heart 
 could not beat faster
  during this run
   this marathon of love

Each mile a story
 each breath a song
  through valleys of passion
   hills of trust

In every stride
 a harmonious blend
  of fervent whispers
   love does send

With every footfall
 a silent plea
  A step forward 
   in the undefined

In the quietest steps
 the loudest cries
  in the leap of faith
   the spirits soar

In the tender tread
 the soul's roar
  in the fall of love
   wings unfold

With each fall
 a rise begins
  as love's gravity 
   draws us in

Echoes in the heart
 a waking dream
  through love's vast sky
   into the light

Feelings and time 
 freely collide
  where shadows merge
    feelings flow

In this realm
 no clocks to heed
  where past is present
   now is then

A tapestry woven 
 with threads of moments
  the river of now 
   to eternity bends

Through the course 
 of this boundless race
  in every emotion
